The Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board (MP ESB) has announced the dates for the MP Police Constable Physical Test. The test will take place between 23 September 2024 and 09 November 2024 in 10 cities across Madhya Pradesh, including Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Sagar, Riva, Balaghat, Morena, and Ratlam.

MP Police Constable Selection Process:
The selection process consists of the following stages:
- Written Exam: Conducted on 12 August 2023.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST): For those who passed the written exam.
- Final Selection: Based on combined performance in the written exam, PET, and PST.
Physical Standards for Candidates:
Height:- Male (General, OBC, SC): 168 cm
- Male (ST): 160 cm
- Female (All Categories): 155 cm
- General, OBC, SC: 81 cm (unexpanded), 86 cm (expanded)
- ST: 76 cm (unexpanded), 81 cm (expanded)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Details:
The PET assesses the physical fitness of candidates through various tasks:
800 meters run:
- Male: 2 minutes 40 seconds (minimum qualifying time)
- Female: 3 minutes 30 seconds (minimum qualifying time)
- Marks are awarded based on the time taken, with faster times earning higher marks.
Long Jump:
- Male: Minimum 13 feet
- Female: Minimum 10 feet
- Marks are awarded based on the distance jumped.
Shot Put:
- Male: Minimum 14.5 feet (7.26 kg)
- Female: Minimum 10 feet (4 kg)
- Marks are awarded based on the distance thrown.
