CTET December 2024 - Notification Details

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for December 2024. Eligible candidates interested in Primary (Class I-V) and Junior Level (Class VI-VIII) teaching positions can apply online between 17th September 2024 and 16th October 2024.

Important Dates:

• Application Start Date: 17th September 2024

• Last Date for Online Registration: 16th October 2024

• Last Date for Fee Payment: 16th October 2024

• CTET Exam Date: 1st December 2024

• Admit Card Availability: Before the exam

• Answer Key Availability: After the exam

• Result Announcement: Notified Soon

Application Fee:

For Single Paper:

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹1000/-
• SC / ST / PH: ₹500/-

For Both Paper I and II (Primary & Junior Level):

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹1200/-
• SC / ST / PH: ₹600/-

Fees can be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E-Challan.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. CTET Primary Level (Class I to V):

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

• OR, Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE regulations).

• OR, Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

• OR, Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

2. CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII):

• Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

• OR, Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

• OR, Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year B.Ed, in accordance with NCTE norms.

• OR, Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

• OR, Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed (Special Education).

• Candidates with a B.Ed degree recognized by NCTE are eligible to appear in TET/CTET.

How to Apply:

1. Visit the CBSE official website and apply online for the CTET December 2024 between 17th September 2024 and 16th October 2024.
2. Fill in the form carefully, selecting your nearest exam center, as slots are limited.
3. Ensure all required documents (ID proof, eligibility certificates, etc.) are ready for upload.
4. After completing the form, preview it carefully before submission.
5. Pay the application fee online (if applicable) to complete your application.
6. Print out the final submitted form for future reference.
