The Powergrid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has announced the recruitment for Apprentices across various units in the country. The notification was released on August 20, 2024, and the online application process is open from August 20 to September 8, 2024. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website, powergrid.in.

• Graduate (Electrical): B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical Engineering

• Graduate (Civil): B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) in Civil Engineering

• Graduate (Electronics/Telecom): B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering

• Graduate (Computer Science): B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) in Computer Science Engineering/IT

How to Apply:

1. Candidates need to have an Apprentices Registration Number.
2. Apply online between 20/08/2024 and 08/09/2024.
3. Read the notification carefully before applying.
4. Prepare all necessary documents like eligibility proof, ID, and address details.
5. Scan documents like photo, signature, and ID proof.
6. Review the application form before submission.
7. Print out the final submitted form.

Selection Process:

• The selection will be based on the merit list, which is prepared based on the marks in the qualifying exam (degree/diploma).
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
• A medical examination will follow.
