The Department of Science & Technology of the Government of Madhya Pradesh is inviting online applications for the Computer Proficiency Certification Test (CPCT) - 2024. CPCT is required for positions like Data Entry, IT Operator, Assistant Grade-3, Steno, Shorthand, Typist, and other similar roles in various departments and agencies under the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

CPCT MP Eligibility Criteria 2024
To be eligible for CPCT, you must meet these criteria:
- You should have passed Higher Secondary or have a Polytechnic Diploma after the 10th.
- You must be at least 18 years old on the date of registration.
Notice
The Government of Madhya Pradesh requires computer proficiency certification for various positions in different departments and offices. According to the order of the General Administration Department, the Computer Proficiency Certification Test (CPCT) scorecard is mandatory for contract/regular appointments in the field of Information Technology/Computer.
- CPCT exams will be held in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Sagar, and Satna.
- The rules for making corrections in the application form are provided in the CPCT rule book available on the portal.
- The CPCT rule book contains rules related to candidates with disabilities and a sample application form for the convenience of the writer, available on the CPCT portal.
- All information/details about the CPCT exam, rule book, and the proposed calendar for upcoming exams are available on the CPCT portal (www.cpct.mp.gov.in).
- Only candidates who bring their original photo ID will be allowed to enter the exam center.
- Candidates must appear for both sections (computer and typing) of the exam.
- The CPCT exam will be conducted following the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health during the coronavirus outbreak.
