They are looking to fill 4002 Constable positions in the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department. - Constable (SDRF): 100 posts, 10th Pass
- Constable (Telecom): 502 posts, 12th with Science
- Constable (Photographer): 22 posts, 12th with Science + 6 Months Computer Course + 2 Years Experience
- Constable (Executive) - Jammu: 1249 posts, 10th Pass
- Constable (Executive) - Kashmir: 440 posts, 10th Pass

- Male: Height 5'-6", Chest 32" - 33½"

Physical Endurance Test (PET):
- Male: Long Race - 1600 meters in 6½ minutes, Pushups - 20
- Female: Long Race - 1000 meters in 6½ minutes, Shot Put (4kgs) - 14½ feet in three attempts
