The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has announced the recruitment of 2,424 Assistant Professors for the Education Department of the Government of Haryana.
The HPSC Assistant Professor Notification 2024 was released on 2 August 2024. Online applications are accepted from 7 August to 27 August 2024.Eligible candidates can apply online at hpsc.gov.in starting from 7 August 2024.

Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Professor (All subjects except Fine Arts and Mass Communication)
- Good academic record with a Master’s degree with 55% marks in a relevant subject.
- Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or in higher education.
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) or similar test accredited by the UGC.
- Ph.D. holders as per UGC regulations are exempted from NET.
Assistant Professor in Fine Arts
- Good academic record with at least 55% marks in Fine Arts or an equivalent degree.
- Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or in higher education.
- Must have cleared the NET or similar test accredited by the UGC.
- Ph.D. holders as per UGC regulations are exempted from NET.
Assistant Professor in Mass Communication
- Good academic record with at least 55% marks in Mass Communication or an equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or in higher education.
- Must have cleared the NET or similar test accredited by the UGC.
- Ph.D. holders as per UGC regulations are exempted from NET.
