The Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has released the admit card or call letter for the recruitment of Short Service Commission Medical Officers (SSC MO). This recruitment is open to both male and female Indian citizens for 450 vacancies. Eligible candidates can download their call letters from the AFMS SSC official website at amcsscentry.gov.in starting from 19th August 2024.

Age Limit (As of 31st December 2024)
- Maximum Age for UG Degree Holders: 30 years (Only those born on or after 2nd January 1995 are eligible)
- Maximum Age for PG Degree Holders: 35 years (Only those born on or after 2nd January 1990 are eligible)

AFMS SSC Medical Officer Eligibility Criteria 2024
- Educational Qualification: Applicants must have a medical qualification included in the National Medical Commission Act 2019. They must also have permanent registration with any State Medical Council, MCI, or NMC. Those with a Post Graduate Degree recognized by the State Medical Council, NBE, or NMC are also eligible to apply.
