UP Scholarship 2024-25: Online Form Submission and Requirements

The Post Matric Scholarship, for the fiscal year 2024-2025 has been announced by the Social Welfare Department of Uttar Pradesh. The applicants will be required to apply online and this is will open from 1st July, 2024 to the date stated. This particular scholarship is for the students of the colleges located in the Uttar Pradesh but students coming from any other state are also eligible to apply. These include the undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate, diploma, and others among them. It is also noteworthy that the submitting of applications is done through the website known as Sarkari Result.

Important Dates

• Application Start Date: July 1, 2024

• Registration Deadline: December 20, 2024

• Form Submission Deadline: December 31, 2024

• Hard Copy Submission Deadline: January 5, 2025

• Correction Window: January 29, 2025, to February 5, 2025

• General / OBC / EWS / SC / ST / PH / All Female Categories: No fee

Eligibility

• Must be enrolled in a school, college, institution, or university in Uttar Pradesh.

• For Class 11: Passed Class 10.

• For Class 12: Passed Class 11.

• For undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate, or diploma courses.

• Caste certificate

• Income certificate

• Bank passbook

• Fee receipt number

• Annual non-refundable amount

• Enrollment number

• Aadhaar card number

• Latest passport-size photo

For Renewal Candidates

• Use the registration number from the previous year to log in and enter new details.

How to Apply

1. New Candidates: Those who are newly admitted to Class 11, 12, or any UG/PG/Diploma/Certificate courses should apply as fresh candidates.
2. Renewal Candidates: Those already enrolled and applied for scholarships last year should renew their application.

Steps:

1. Collect all required documents before applying online.
2. Ensure the non-refundable amount is correct; check your fee receipt or contact your institution.
3. Submit the form to your school/college within three days of completing the application.

Important Note: Aadhaar card is mandatory for the application.

Renewal Process

1. Go to the registration link on the homepage.
2. Click on the renewal link and enter details.
3. Log in on the renewal UP scholarship page.
4. Fill out the application form with previous scholarship and educational details.
5. Upload a passport-size photo and print the form.
6. Submit the form to the respective school/college for further processing.
