Post and Eligibility Details
Officers Grade B General: 66 posts
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH) or Master’s Degree in any subject with 55% marks (Pass for SC/ST/PH).
Officers Grade B DEPR: 21 posts
- Qualification: Master’s Degree in Economics or Master’s Degree in Finance/PGDM/MBA.
Officers Grade B DSIM: 07 posts
- Qualification: Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematics with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST).
Selection Process
The selection process begins about a month after the application deadline and includes three stages:
Phase I:
- Objective-type questions on English language, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, and general awareness.
- Total Marks: 200
- Mode: Online
- Questions: MCQ-based, in both Hindi and English.
- This phase is qualifying in nature.
Phase II:
- Candidates who pass Phase I will take the Phase II exam, which has three papers: economic and social issues, English writing skills, and finance and management.
- The syllabus and exam pattern vary for General, DEPR, and DSIM posts.
Interview:
- Candidates who clear Phase II will attend the interview stage.
