How to Apply
- Visit the official Indian Army website at joinindianarmy.nic.in.
- Click on ‘Officer Entry Application/Login’ and then ‘Registration’ (if not already registered).
- Complete the online registration form after reading the instructions.
- After registering, click ‘Apply Online’ under the Dashboard.
- Open the ‘Officers Selection - Eligibility’ page.
- Click ‘Apply’ for the Short Service Commission NCC Special Entry Course.
- Fill in the application form with personal, communication, education, and previous SSB details.
- Save and continue after each section.
- Preview the information on the ‘Summary of your information’ page.
- Submit the application form.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting of Applications: The Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defence (Army) will shortlist applications. Candidates will receive center allotment information via email.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates undergo a two-stage SSB interview. Successful candidates in Stage I proceed to Stage II. The interview lasts five days.
- Medical Examination: Successful candidates from Stage II will undergo a medical exam.
- Merit List: Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will join training based on merit and vacancies.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive attractive salaries and allowances. Training will be at OTA, with final arms/services allocation before passing out. The salary structure is as follows:
