M G College Darbhanga Freebies & Scholarships
- Under the exemption rules set by the university, efforts are made to give maximum exemption to poor and meritorious students. Special financial assistance is given from the Poor Students Fund. Special facilities are given to girl students.
- Almost within two months of the commencement of teaching, applications are invited from students for availing freebies and other assistance. The Student Freedom Committee takes decisions in the light of its criteria. And the appropriate decision is informed to the students. A certified copy of the examination result along with proof of poverty and facilities received in the previous class should be attached to the student for free admission.
- For meritorious and poor students, the government provides as much support and instructions as possible to the students in the context of government loan-scholarship, merit-cum-poverty scholarship-Scheduled Caste and Backward Caste scholarship.
- Monthly tuition fee is received from the government for all the backward castes of Schedule-1 including Scheduled Castes/Tribes/Backward Muslims and Momins who enroll after passing the preliminary examination. Students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Tribes, Backward Castes mentioned in Schedule-1 are given exemption in examination fee maximum twice for a year's examination. Students may have financial aid from only one source.
- According to Bihar Government's letter no. 5/Vi-109/177-K-5159 and Government of India's letter no. BC/1101/876, SCB- 4 September 76, the scholarship given to students includes living allowance and All fees payable are inclusive of amounts which will be deducted by the College at the time of payment.

Mahatma Gandhi College Admissions
College enrolls students in the intermediate courses (Science, Arts, Commerce). The procedure for admission in the above courses is strictly according to the guidelines of the Government of Bihar. The college invites application from the eligible students and for final admission they are informed to take admission after shortlisting. Similarly, a three year degree course is running in the college in different faculties. The admission procedure for this course is also the same as mentioned above.
