How to Download the UPSC IAS Admit Card 2024?

Candidates can get their UPSC CSE (IAS) admit card by following these steps:
  1. Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
  2. Click on the "Admit Card" link on the homepage.
  3. Read the instructions on the page and click "Yes."
  4. Choose either "By Registration ID" or "By Roll Number."
  5. If you select "By Registration ID," enter your registration ID and date of birth. If you choose "By Roll Number," enter your roll number and date of birth.
  6. Click on the "Submit" button.
Your admit card will appear on the screen. Download and print it for your exam.

If you don't have your registration ID, you can follow these steps to recover or re-generate it:

General Instructions

  • ID Card: This year, the admit card includes the identity card number. Candidates must bring the same government ID to the exam.
  • Arrival Time: Arrive at the exam center at least ten minutes before the exam starts. There may be security checks, which take time.
  • Electronic Devices: No electronic or communication devices are allowed. This includes mobile phones, even if they are switched off. If found with such a device, candidates may face disciplinary action, including a ban from future exams.
  • Pen: Use only a black ballpoint pen to mark answers on the OMR sheet. Answers marked with any other color will not be checked.
  • Answer Sheet: Be careful when filling in details on the OMR sheet. Mistakes, especially with the Roll Number and Test Booklet Series Code, can lead to rejection of the answer sheet. Corrections can only be made if the invigilator allows it at the exam venue.
