WB Police Constable Physical Measurement Test
To qualify for WB Police Constable 2024, candidates must meet the following minimum physical requirements:
Constable (Male):
- Candidates of all categories (except Gorkhas, Rajbanshis, Garwalis, and Scheduled Tribes): 167 cm height, 78 cm chest with a minimum expansion of 5 cm, and 57 kg weight.
- Gorkhas, Rajbanshis, Garwalis, and Scheduled Tribes: 160 cm height, 76 cm chest with a minimum expansion of 5 cm, and 53 kg weight.
- Candidates of all categories (except Gorkhas, Rajbanshis, Garwalis, and Scheduled Tribes): 160 cm height and 49 kg weight.
- Gorkhas, Rajbanshis, Garwalis, and Scheduled Tribes: 152 cm height and 45 kg weight.
West Bengal Constable PET
The subsequent stage of the WB Police Constable Exam is the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates who have successfully cleared the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) are qualified to participate in the WB Police Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET). In the PET examination, candidates will be required to take part in a running test. The timing of the candidates will be recorded using Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) technology.
For Male Candidates:
- Distance: 1600 meters
- Time taken: 6 minutes and 30 seconds
- Distance: 800 meters
- Time taken: 4 minutes
