This information has been affirmed by the Board President Channel Kishore in the official notification. It is emphasized that in order to pass the matriculation examination, it is imperative to attain a minimum of 30% marks in each subject. Additionally, the board will provide a grace of five marks. If a student falls short of five marks for achieving a first division, they will be awarded the necessary five marks to elevate them to the first division. Similarly, if a student is on the brink of securing a second division but lacks five marks, they will also receive the grace marks. Under the new scheme implemented by the Bihar Board, students who narrowly miss out on achieving a higher division will receive the benefit of five grace marks upon review of their exam results.
